To be held at the Napanee Lions Club Hall on Centre ST., in the town of Napanee, ON. The Hall can be reached from HWY 401 by taking HWY 41 interchange at Napanee and proceeding South on HWY 41 (Centre ST.), through the town, over the Napanee River, through the next set of traffic lights and proceed approximately 100 yards on your left to the auction site.

We have been asked by Barbara Rank to sell the collection of her late husband, Gordon a recognized expert in the field of Flow Blue China and a long time Ontario Antiques dealer, by unreserved public auction. Accumulated over the last 40+ years, it consists of mainly smalls to include early and late Flow Blue China table wares, toilet sets and decorative pieces, a small outstanding selection of advertising tins, a stained glass window advertising “Whittle and Sons, Pork Butchers”, spatter ware to include Pea Fowl, rainbow spatter, etc., children’s set of dishes in both china and tin to include a child’s “Afternoon Tea” in green transfer ware consisting of tea pot, creamer, 5 cups and saucers, waste bowl and two cake plates by Wood, Challiner & Co. C1864, a quantity of period cups and saucers including handless examples, white ironstone with Beaver motifs, a Rockingham glazed teapot with Beaver finial, a carved powder horn dated 1810 and two muzzle loading long guns, a selection of 19th Century children’s plates, several ironstone and Flow Blue teapots, a number of framed samplers, oil paintings, silhouettes, Royalty Baxter prints, decorated stoneware merchant crocks, an early Ontario 19th Century wrought iron meat fork with a heart motif, blown glass rolling pins, a hand stamped 19th Century brass key fob from the Royal hotel Kincardine with a Beaver and crown motif, a 19th Century military dress helmet from the Governor Generals body guard, an unusual deep drawer turned leg candle table, a two drawer blanket chest in it’s original blue painted surface from Western ON., a primitive hoop back arm chair, an arrow back rocker in it’s original painted surface, framed advertising prints, a set of five tin banks advertising “Circus Club Mallows” by Harry Horne Co. Toronto each showing a different animal, skaters lamps in green and blue, coloured miniature lamps, a refinished Western ON. corner cupboard featuring six lights per door and two drawers, round butter stamps and butter prints, wooden wash board, milk tokens, figural glass candy containers, cast iron frog door stop, plus many more items to numerous to list.
