December 7th Antique Consignment Auction

We have been asked by collectors from Central and Eastern Ontario to sell a selection of country furnishings and accessories by unreserved public auction.

To be held at the Napanee Lions Club hall on Centre St. in the town of Napanee, ON. The hall can be reached from hwy 401 by taking the hwy 41 interchange at Napanee and proceeding South on hwy 41 (Centre st), through the town, over the Napanee River, through the next set of traffic lights and proceeding approximately 100 yards to the auction site.

Featured in the sale will be a paneled blind door Prince Edward County flat to the wall cupboard in an old yellow painted finish, a refinished pine flat to the wall glazed top cupboard from the county, in addition to several pieces of refinished furniture to include wash stands, dry sink, drop front desk, transitional chest, chests of drawers, etc., drop leaf tables from Niagara, a work table with drawer featuring a two board top and original red finish, several sets of chairs in both country and formal, signed Sibley ladder back rocking chair in original brown paint, Windsor chairs, small open washstand with a single drawer and gallery, stripped to original surface from Nova Scotia, plus many more items of furniture too numerous to list. Highlights of the collectibles will include decorated tole boxes plus other assorted decorated tole items, blanket chests to include a refinished pine "V" box from Que., decorative and glass walking sticks, several native baskets including fine decorated examples, decorated ON. stone ware including examples from Picton, clock shelves, Port Neuf style pottery, plus a selection of early to mid 19th Century pottery and table wares, oil paintings, water colors, silhouettes, prints, etc., decorative cast iron, leather covered document box, from Belleville ON., other document boxes, tea caddie, several watch hutches in pain, a great selection of fireplace iron and lighting to include wrought iron toaster, andirons, fry pans, hog scraper candle sticks, tin wall sconce from Welland County, railway lantern, etc., a selection of textiles including hooked mats, quilts, coverlets, etc., etc.
